Halo: Infinite System Requirements

Halo Infinite

Halo: Infinite is going to be a graphical marvel and 343 Industries’ biggest adventure to date. It is the first title to come to PC at launch. It is the sixteenth installment in the series and a direct sequel to 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians. Infinite will come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at launch. Unlike its predecessors, the multiplayer mode will be free-to-play for everyone. Microsoft says that it built Halo: Infinite for PC. It will come with advanced graphics settings, variable framerates, dynamic scaling, triple-key binds, and support for ultrawide and super-ultrawide gaming monitors. A 120FPS mode will be supported on select hardware, game modes, and maps. However, the game seems to be quite demanding.

You need at least an AMD FX 8370 or Intel i5 4440 coupled with an AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti to play the game at the lowest settings in 1080p. And, it seems like Microsoft is confused with their minimum requirements. The RX 570 is a lot more capable as compared to the GTX 1050 Ti. However, the next offering from AMD, the RX 560, suffers in all modern AAA titles, even at 1080p. The RX 470 seems like a better option as the minimum card from AMD. However, the difference between the RX 470 and the RX 570 is just 4-5%.

Also, the official system requirements had no word regarding the resolution, the frame rates, or settings. We will predict them according to the average performance of the listed systems.

Microsoft has confirmed that Halo: Infinite won’t have Ray Tracing at launch. However, support for Ray Tracing will be added in a patch later down the line.

Halo: Infinite will launch on December 8, 2021, for Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
