There are so many secrets to uncover, different bosses and enemies to fight, and sophisticated weapons for you to use in this game.
5. The Division 2
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is a great game to play if you’re a Borderlands fan. It may not have all the humor you want, but it does provide you with enough action to keep your blood pumping. This online action RPG focuses on an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division sent to restore the city to its previous state after a pandemic. The city is crawling with criminals which you have to take care of while trying to understand the cause and source of the pandemic. You have various weapons available for you such as rifles and grenades.
6. Rage 2
Rage 2 is also a first-person shooter video game where almost everything explodes. The game is based in a post-apocalyptic world where the human population has been reduced by the impact of an asteroid on the earth. Now, there are gangs all over the place, terrorizing the remaining survivors. You were left for dead, but only you can bring justice and freedom to the citizens. You have to use your combat skills in this open-world to defeat these gang members and crush the oppressors ruling over the remnants of the world.
7. Bulletstorm
Bulletstorm is almost a decade old, but it is still being played by many across the world. Looking for humor? This game will provide you with all that you need. But along with its interesting story, style, and humor comes a whole lot of violence and profanity. So, if you don’t think you can handle too much violence, you definitely shouldn’t get this. The soundtrack, graphics, voice acting, humor, and storyline are top-notch. You can carry various firearms at once, and recharge when you get shot and your health bar is depleted.

Warframe is a free online multiplayer action game. All players control members of an ancient warrior team known as Tenno. There are different missions available for you to complete. You can either play against the environment and computer-generated enemies in a single-player mode or play against other players in a competitive multiplayer mode. It has good graphics too, and you don’t have to pay a dime for anything.
9. Path of Exile
So, you’ve been chased out of your world, banished to another continent to suffer. You seek to get enough power to exact your revenge on all those who sent you out. This game is quite interesting because you get to create your skills and boost your power by getting skill gems. The more complex your gem combination, the greater your powers and the havoc you would wreak. This action RPG focuses on combat, customer characterization, and gathering important items. You can’t use real money to buy anything in this game, so it’s a fair play for everyone.

I like games where I can team up with friends and we can be badass at least once or twice before we return to our normal boring lives. Payday 2 helps us get that. This action co-operative multiplayer shooter game allows you and your friends to take over the characters Houston, Wolf, Dallas, and Chains and carry out criminal activities in Washington DC. Most of us can’t be criminals in real-life, but we can slip into another world in Payday 2. As you and your friends succeed in jobs, you get even bigger jobs and greater rewards. You just have to make sure you don’t get caught.
11. Tales from Borderlands
Tales of Borderlands focuses on Borderlands’ humor. This five-part episodic game focuses on two adventurers, Fiona, a Pandoran con artist, and Rhys, a man who wants the Hyperion. You’re going to fight bandits, gangsters, and Vault Hunters as you go on this adventurous journey and explore Pandora.
12. Dead Island
Dead Island is a horror game. You may be wondering how it made the list with all these other action games. It is an action game too. You can’t survive in the zombie-infested world without taking down some zombies yourself. You can either play solo or along with three other players in the multiplayer mode. The game has great graphics and storyline. You’ll enjoy trying to survive.
13. Wolfenstein: Young Blood
Wolfenstein: Young Blood is a first-person shooter video game that was released in 2019. You can control one of two characters, Zofia or Jessie Blazkowicz, sisters that have been trained by their parents on how to fight and defend themselves. You’re going to fight Nazi agents either with an artificial intelligence partner, or another player who takes the role of your sister. As you progress, you gain new abilities and gear.
14. Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 is a first-person shooter game set in a fictional area, Hope County, in the United States. You are playing the role of a junior police officer who has to join the resistance to fight an evil cult that has taken over Hope’s County. You get to fight members of this cult using your combat skills and you will also be challenged by dangerous wildlife. You have various weapons at your disposal that will help you defeat them.
15. Diablo III
Diablo III is the third installment in the Diablo series. You get to choose one of seven character classes- the Necromancer, Wizard, Monk, Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Demon Hunter, and Crusader. This game has so many interesting missions. You’ll also meet bad guys you have to fight along the way, help out struggling factions, and build drugs and explosives from scrap materials.
17. Mad Max
We all loved the Mad Max movie. It has very nice visuals, action, vehicles, and a fantastic storyline. You can think of the video game as the same. In this action-adventure game, you control Mac Rockatansky who is on a quest to find peace. He is building a vehicle, Magnum Opus, that will help him reach his destination. But, he also has to fight Scabrous Scrotus and his group of raiders (terrorists). Most of the action here is vehicular combat, just like in the movie.
